In the Province of Noord-Holland, 25 miles north of Amsterdam, lies a landscape of old polder land, easily accessible by train and by car (Amsterdam, Hoorn, Alkmaar).  An unexpected oasis of quiet and peace, a beautiful place to live. Yet, there is something going on... a new community is emerging.

We are developing a community of work and life with the aim of recreating the farm and its surroundings - preserving what we think deserves to be saved and experimenting with combinations of old and new, hoping to offer a perspective for future generations. A big, authentic farm in the countryside with space for studios, with animal stock, an orchard and room for cultural and educational encounters.

A group of people from diverse backgrounds, various age groups and interests, workers and thinkers bound by the idea of complementarily sharing a wonderful place to live.
